Make October one to remember.
This month is extra special because you get to focus on your dreams and make it happen.
Everybody has at least one thing they have been thinking about but not quite had the guts to go for. This is where procrastination stops and stepping out on your own two feet and making magic begins!
After spending a few days with an old friend who came to visit. She told me her journey of how she always wanted to work on boats.
In fact I know this is true because 3 years ago when we both moved to Sydney she set out to do exactly that.
This month she is finally biting the bullet and setting out on an amazing adventure sailing around Europe and most likely the rest of the world. Go girl!!
This is one example of making your dreams reality. It’s really quite astounding what one can achieve when you learn to direct and manifest your thoughts.
For me as most of you know I will be going to Paris to compete at Fitness Universe, a dream I have had for the past 6 months.
Hard work and determination have led me to this point and I have never been more excited and ready to make it all happen!
October is your month and I challenge you to put it to the test. Whether it be a fitness, personal, professional goal (or all of the above!) I want to hear some amazing stories from you!
Lets get involved!
What do you want more than anything?
That something that you’ve always wanted but been too afraid/busy to do.
This is your month to achieve whatever your heart desires.
Set your goals with purpose.
Make it visible.
Bring it to the forefront of your mind everyday.
Accountability. Get other people on board.
Actively do something each day that brings you closer no matter how big or small.
Pull out all stops and make it happen!!
This is your month. Not your cats, not your friends, not your neighbour.
September is all about making things happen for YOU!
Taking it to the next level
Whether you are beginner or even a serious athlete, there are certain steps you need to take in order to get to your BIG goal.
In order for you to successfully get there there needs to be a step by step planning process which enables you to accomplish small mini goals that lead you to your to your BIG goal.
Ask yourself these questions
- How long have you been sitting in the same place as you are now?
- When was the last time you mapped out a plan of attack?
- Do you know how to get to where you want to be?
- Who can help you?
With the likes of having the internet, a forever growing mass of information at our fingertips anyone can research and self teach these days.
Just be careful to note that not all information submitted onto the internet is legit! You may need to ask a professional for help.
Outsourcing and networking with professionals in the fitness industry can open up doors you may never knew existed!
Whatever level you may be at I would always advise broadening your spectrum and getting some handy help!
I still outsource and look for ways to step things up and know how much more I gain from creating a plan of attack.
You may not be where you want to be today but by starting your action plan now you’ll be much closer by tomorrow.
Down to the last week! Hang in there!
Keep your goals in FULL VIEW. By having a picture, mantra or training date you need your exercise to compliment readily available and viewable, you are much more likely to stick with your training regime.
Being a visual creature, I highly suggest finding a training muse and having a few photos of them on your phone, in your diary (just somewhere you look at regularly)
May end up being the difference whether you finish that last sprint or round!
